NOT in the right direction: According to Carbon Brief, CO2 emissions from the use of fossil fuels are still rising by 0,6% in 2019, mostly due to higher use of oil and gas by China, India. Three interesting points in my view:
1 – The rise is not so much due to the use of coal but indeed from use of oil and gas ;
2 – Government stimulus in China is pushing production of cement and steel which are highly CO2 emitting industries and …
3 – Despite Trump, the US is actually seeing a decline which is … a surprisingly good news !
